Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), 52-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stansbury upgrades its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Stallions host Murray (Murray, UT) to play the Spartans in a 4A Region 10 bout on Friday, February 2. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Huskies play the Park City Miners (Park City, UT) in a 4A Region 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Miners come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 70-65 league win over Tooele (Tooele, UT).
