The South Fayette Lions basketball team (McDonald, PA), dropped 58-49 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA)
The Tigers now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montour for a non-league battle on Sunday, January 28. Moon Area will confront a Spartans team coming off a 71-49 league win over West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 14-2.
The Lions (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts come into the WPIAL 5A 4 battle with a 6-9 record.
