The White Mountains Spartans topped the visiting Newfound Regional Bears basketball team by a final score of 37-28 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH) in a Division III game, on Friday, January 26. White Mountains will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 45-34 league loss to Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH).
With the defeat, Newfound Regional moves to 1-12 on the year. The Bears travel to Belmont (Belmont, NH) to face the Red Raiders in a Division III game on Thursday, January 25. The Red Raiders enter the game with a record of 4-6.
