The White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) basketball felled the host Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 48-31 in Thursday's league test.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Berlin (Berlin, NH). The Mountaineers go into the Division III test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Berlin was beaten by Kennett (Conway, NH), 61-24, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to White Mountains for a Division III test on Tuesday, January 2. Newfound Regional will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 48-31 league win over Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.
