Georgia High School Basketball - Windsor Forest overwhelms Pierce County

January 25, 2024: Savannah, GA 31419

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), saw Windsor Forest's basketball squad wallop Pierce County by a tally of 74-35.

With the victory, Windsor Forest improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Appling County (Baxley, GA) to play the Pirates in a AA Region 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-18. Appling County lost 67-54 in their recent league challenge against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)

Next up, the Bears play the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a AA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Pierce County will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 60-49 league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA).
