Ohio High School Basketball - Vinton County tipped by Alexander

January 25, 2024: McArthur, OH 45651

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Alexander Spartans basketball team scored a tight 33-30 triumph over the Vinton County Vikings.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Trimble Tomcats (Glouster, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 27. Alexander will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Tomcats enter the match with a 4-10 record after their 44-26 league loss to Waterford (Waterford, OH).

With the defeat, Vinton County moves to 7-10 on the year. The Vikings travel to River Valley (Bidwell, OH) to meet the Raiders in a Tri-Valley - Ohio match on Monday, January 29. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 14-4. River Valley lost 45-36 in their recent league match against Wellston (Wellston, OH)
