The Giles Spartans basketball team (Pearisburg, VA), was toppled 59-50 in Thursday's league battle with the host Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA)
The Eagles now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayson County for a Mountain Empire battle on Friday, January 26. Auburn will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 68-37 league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-8.
