Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), 46-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central Aroostook upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Fort Kent won 43-37 in their recent non-league bout against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME)

Next up, the Pandas play the Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Lee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
