In Saturday's league outing, the Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) basketball squad edged the host Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), by a count of 33-27.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Hodgdon was tipped by Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME), 65-53, in a non-league outing.

The Pandas now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Stearns for a D North outing on Monday, January 8. Lee Academy will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 35-28 league loss to Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-6.
