In Thursday's non-league outing, the Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN), by a count of 53-45.
The Hawks (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Wildcats go into the AAAA Section 2 outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Waconia was topped by Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 81-64, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Two Rivers for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. New Prague will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 10-7.
