The Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy basketball team scored 28 points and held the host University Prep Jaguars to 27 in the league triumph on Thursday.

The now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside Prep for a Cross Valley contest on Tuesday, January 30. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy will battle a Silver Knights team coming off a 52-29 league loss to Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA). The Silver Knights record now stands at 11-11.

The Jaguars (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA). The Bears enter the Cross Valley contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, Big Bear was nudged by Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA), 52-29, in a league contest.
