Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH), 53-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Dawson-Bryant upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Hornets travel to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH) to clash with the Redmen in a Ohio Valley bout on Monday, January 29. The Redmen go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Rock Hill won 40-25 in their recent league bout against Ironton (Ironton, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Monday, January 29. Gallia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Pointers go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 74-36 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH).
