The Dawson-Bryant Hornets basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Gallia Academy Blue Devils to 46 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Hill for a Ohio Valley contest on Monday, December 18. Dawson-Bryant will battle a Redmen team coming off a 46-39 league loss to Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 1-4.

The Blue Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Waverly (Waverly, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Waverly edged Western (Latham, OH), 59-8, in a non-league contest.
