Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) and the host Druid Hills Red Devils (Atlanta, GA), saw Southwest DeKalb's basketball squad wallop Druid Hills by a count of 69-22.

With the victory, Southwest DeKalb upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Clarkston (Clarkston, GA) to play the Angoras in a AAAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Angoras come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Clarkston lost 61-18 in their recent league challenge against Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Druid Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 42-31 league win over Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
