Ohio High School Basketball - Harding ripped by Mathews

The Mathews Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Harding Skippers to 17 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John for a Northeastern - Stripes contest on Thursday, February 1. Mathews will battle a Fighting Herald team coming off a 60-48 non-league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Fighting Herald record now stands at 8-9.

The Skippers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Max S. Hayes (Cleveland, OH). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Max S. Hayes was routed by John F. Kennedy (Cleveland, OH), 57-38, in a league contest.
