Ohio High School Basketball - Mathews fells Harding

December 14, 2023: Fairport Harbor, OH 44077

Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH), 43-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Mathews upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Jackson-Milton lost 52-19 in their recent league bout against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH)

Next up, the Skippers clash with the Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) in a Northeastern - Stars bout, on Monday, December 18. Harding will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 66-41 league loss to Badger (Kinsman, OH).
