Utah High School Basketball - Providence Hall ripped by Summit Academy

The Summit Academy Bears basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Providence Hall Patriots to 18 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Judge Memorial Catholic for a 3A Region 14 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Summit Academy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-44 league win over Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.

The Patriots (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT). The Eagles enter the 3A Region 14 contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Layton Christian Academy triumphed over Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT), 43-21, in a league contest.
