The West Monona Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Ridge View Raptors to 40 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a Western Valley - North contest on Monday, January 29. West Monona will meet a Rebels team coming off a 55-25 league win over Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 17-0.

The Raptors (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-13 record.
