The West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA), 60-47 in Tuesday's league test.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their test against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, MOC-Floyd Valley notched a victory over Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 59-47, in a league test.

The Raptors now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbury Central for a Western Valley - North test on Thursday, December 14. Ridge View will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 79-41 league loss to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.
