Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 56-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Roanoke-Benson upgrades its record to 5-20 on the season. The Rockets travel to Midland (Varna, IL) to play the Timberwolves in a Tri-County bout on Monday, January 29. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 16-8. Midland lost 40-33 in their recent league bout against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a Tri-County bout, on Monday, January 29. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record.
