The McQueen Lancers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Galena Grizzlies to 42 in the Lancers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Manogue for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27.

The Grizzlies (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars enter the contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Spanish Springs nudged Carson (Carson City, NV), 54-43, in a league contest.
