Nevada High School Basketball - Galena topples McQueen

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) basketball squad beat the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), by a count of 55-45.

The Grizzlies (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars go into the outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Spanish Springs defeated Carson (Carson City, NV), 53-41, in a league outing.

The Lancers now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a outing on Thursday, December 21. McQueen will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 71-56 non-league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV). The Miners record now stands at 5-3.
