The Normal University Pioneers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Bloomington Central Catholic Saints to 50 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pioneers now have a 13-11 record. They play next when they host Decatur Eisenhower for a Central State Eight game on Saturday, February 1.

With the loss, Bloomington Central Catholic falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL) to confront the Rockets in a Illini Prairie game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 16-6. Tolono Unity won 67-39 in their recent league game against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL)
