Illinois High School Basketball - Bloomington Central Catholic can't hold off Normal University

Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL), 57-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Normal University upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to face the Titans in a Central State Eight match on Saturday, December 7. The Titans enter the match with a record of 2-2.

The Saints now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Normal West for a non-league match on Monday, December 2. Bloomington Central Catholic will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 36-34 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
