The Pirates (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Eastern Oregon challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Nyssa was tipped by McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR), 34-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hilanders encounter the Ontario Tigers (Ontario, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Burns will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 87-38 league loss to Pendleton (Pendleton, OR).
