The Burns Hilanders basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Riverside Pirates to 31 in the Hilanders league triumph on Saturday.

The Hilanders now have a 15-7 record. They play next when they host McLoughlin for a 3A Eastern Oregon game on Monday, February 10. Burns will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 50-36 league loss to Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Riverside falls to 18-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Vale (Vale, OR) to confront the Vikings in a 3A Eastern Oregon game on Monday, February 10. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 6-13. Vale lost 71-44 in their recent league game against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR)
