Nebraska High School Basketball - Twin River triumphant over Meridian

January 25, 2025: Daykin, NE 68338

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) and the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), observed Twin River's basketball team overwhelm Meridian by a margin of 59-37.

The Titans (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Dorchester trounced Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE), 40-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Meridian will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 39-34 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE).
