Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Smithfield knocks off Barrington

In Saturday's league contest, the host Smithfield Sentinels ice hockey team scored a close 4-1 victory over the Barrington Eagles.
The Sentinels (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the Division 1 contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Burrillville by Prout (Wakefield, RI), 10-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) in a Division 1 contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Barrington will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
