Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Barrington gets by Smithfield

In Saturday's league contest, the host Barrington Eagles ice hockey team scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Smithfield Sentinels.
The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers come into the Division 1 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Moses Brown by Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 3-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sentinels battle the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 1 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Smithfield will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 4-2 non-league win over North Haven (North Haven, CT).
