The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), witnessed Cheyenne Mountain's ice hockey team defeat Mullen by a final score of 4-0.

The Red-Tailed Hawks (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Colorado Academy (Denver, CO). The Mustangs come into the 4A North challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Colorado Academy got by Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO), 9-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Mullen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Kadets come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Summit (Frisco, CO).
