The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks ice hockey team scored 9 points and held the visiting Mullen Mustangs to 1 in the Red-Tailed Hawks league victory on Saturday.

The Red-Tailed Hawks now hold a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Standley Lake for a 4A North bout on Saturday, December 14. Cheyenne Mountain will play a Gators team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Kent Denver (Englewood, CO). The Gators record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Mullen moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Eagles in a 4A North bout on Monday, December 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Pine Creek won 13-0 in their recent non-league bout against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO)
