Florida High School Basketball - Baker County holds off Union County

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Baker County Wildcats basketball team scored a close 50-44 triumph over the Union County Fightin' Tigers.

The Wildcats (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fernandina Beach (Fernandina Beach, FL). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Fernandina Beach was tipped by Palatka (Palatka, FL), 63-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Fightin' Tigers confront the Middleburg Broncos (Middleburg, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Union County will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record.
