The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) basketball edged the visiting Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC), 49-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Stallions now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina International for a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will play a Comets team coming off a 58-54 league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Comets record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Chatham HomeSchool falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Fayetteville Outliers (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Outliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Outliers go into the bout with a record of 2-10.
