North Carolina High School Basketball - Chatham HomeSchool thwarts Greater Cabarrus Stallions

February 28, 2025: Pittsboro, NC

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC) and the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), observed Chatham HomeSchool's basketball squad gain a win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions by a final score of 49-33.

Next, the Thunder clash with the South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 1. Chatham HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Sabres come into the outing with a 30-3 record after their 77-40 non-league win over Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Stallions (16-13) will now prepare for their outing against Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA). The Hawks come into the non-league outing with a 22-4 record. In their last outing, Fairfax HomeSchool overcame Dominion Christian (Reston, VA), 57-44, in a non-league outing.
