Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID), 34-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Burley upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID) to play the Tigers in a 4A Great Basin bout on Friday, January 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Mountain Home won 46-42 in their recent non-league bout against Capital (Boise, ID)
Next up, the Spartans play the Ridgevue Warhawk (Nampa, ID) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 29. Minico will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Warhawk go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 49-41 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, ID).
