The Palmyra Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting New Egypt Warriors to 25 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbury for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Palmyra will battle a Thundering Herd team coming off a 73-60 league win over Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 11-5.
The Warriors (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Allentown (Allentown, NJ). The Redbirds enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Allentown was routed by Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ), 67-49, in a league contest.
