The New Egypt Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Palmyra Panthers to 44 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spotswood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. New Egypt will battle a Chargers team coming off a 73-68 non-league loss to Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 4-4.
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against STEMCivics (Ewing, NJ). The come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, STEMCivics was defeated by Bordentown (Bordentown, NJ), 90-46, in a non-league contest.
