The PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) basketball knocked off the host Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), 52-43 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bluejays (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans go into the Sangamo test with a 11-11 record. In their last test, Maroa-Forsyth notched a victory over Olympia (Stanford, IL), 71-47, in a league test.

The Saukees now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Jersey for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Pittsfield will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 41-40 league loss to Highland (Highland, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 12-11.
