In Friday's non-league outing, the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) basketball squad edged the host Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), by a count of 38-34.

The Bluejays (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Havana (Havana, IL). The Ducks go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Havana was tipped by Athens (Athens, IL), 60-46, in a non-league outing.

The Saukees now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mendon Unity for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 29.
