The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles to 17 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Veritas Christian Academy will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 83-41 non-league loss to Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-10.

The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles come into the Western Piedmont contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Pinnacle Classical Academy was routed by Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC), 74-63, in a league contest.
