The Lincoln Lions basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Central Knights to 30 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Providence for a Division 3 contest on Monday, January 30. Lincoln will battle a Cougars team coming off a 43-36 league loss to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
The Knights (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders come into the Division 3 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Middletown triumphed over Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 40-23, in a league contest.
