The Central Knights basketball team (Providence, RI), was overwhelmed 51-29 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI)
The Lions now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Exeter-West Greenwich for a Division 3 battle on Wednesday, January 4. Lincoln will confront a Scarlet Knights team coming off a 52-43 league loss to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 2-2.
The Knights (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders come into the Division 3 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Middletown trounced Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 39-30, in a league battle.
