Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Pointe knocked off by Higley

The Higley Knights basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride to 37 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams Field for a 5A San Tan contest on Friday, January 27. Higley will meet a Black Hawks team coming off a 58-53 league win over Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 12-6.

The Pride (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Colts enter the 5A San Tan contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Casteel was outscored by Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 58-53, in a league contest.
