New Jersey High School Basketball - Linden can't hold off Union

The Union Farmers basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Linden Tigers to 26 in the Farmers league victory on Thursday.
The Farmers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranford for a Union County - Valley contest on Saturday, January 28. Union will battle a Cougars team coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights come into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record.
