Union Farmers (Union, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ), 39-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Farmers travel to New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a Union County - Valley bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 16-4. New Providence won 52-23 in their recent non-league bout against Sparta (Sparta, NJ)

Next up, the Tigers play the Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Linden will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
