Tennessee High School Basketball - Anderson County can't hold off Gibbs

The Gibbs Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Anderson County Mavericks to 63 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a 3A District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Gibbs will battle a Dragons team coming off a 68-55 league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 7-9.

The Mavericks (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Highlanders come into the 3A District 4 contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Scott was nudged by Clinton (Clinton, TN), 68-55, in a league contest.
