With the victory, Canutillo upgrades its record to 20-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Chapin (El Paso, TX) to play the Huskies in a 5A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 25-4. Chapin won 77-39 in their recent league bout against Burges (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Andress will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Silver Foxes come into the bout with a 3-22 record after their 72-44 league loss to El Paso (El Paso, TX).
