In Friday's league match, the visiting Belle Plaine Tigers basketball team scored a good 72-57 triumph over the Sibley East Wolverines.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 1. Belle Plaine will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record.
With the defeat, Sibley East moves to 3-16 on the year. The Wolverines host Waseca (Waseca, MN) to meet the Bluejays in a AA Section 2 match on Monday, January 29. The Bluejays enter the match with a record of 9-7. Waseca won 68-64 in their recent non-league match against Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN)
