Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 85-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Belle Plaine upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a AA Section 2 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Lester Prairie Bulldogs (Lester Prairie, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Sibley East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 77-63 league win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN).
