In Friday's league outing, the Lakeview Charter Lions (Sylmar, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bert Corona Charter Knights (Pacoima, CA), by a margin of 72-33.

The Lions (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against CHAMPS (Van Nuys, CA). The Panthers go into the North Valley outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, CHAMPS smashed Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA), 70-64, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Triumph Charter for a North Valley outing on Wednesday, January 31. Bert Corona Charter will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 85-42 league win over Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 21-4.
